October 14 recipe update
The October 14 official update sets Stone Furnace Coal to 3 Wood and 10 seconds for 2 Coal.
The announcement names Stone Furnace only. Professional Smelter retains its October 12 captured recipe of 5 Wood and 15 seconds for 2 Coal; current-game values there remain unverified.
The October 14 official update raises Moon Rock boulder yield from 2–4 to 5–7.
This correction applies to Moonrock Ore boulders only. Loose Scavengable Moonrock Shard nodes retain their captured yield of 1; the remaining dataset is still the October 12 baseline.
Check the Moon Rock pickaxe requirement
The basic Iron Pickaxe cannot mine Moon Rock, despite its description. The developers specify a quality iron pickaxe. We have not confirmed which listed pickaxe matches that name, so check the tool requirement before committing materials.

Leave the unavailable sledgehammer out of your plan
The Refined Flint Sledgehammer is not available yet. Its blueprint can drop, but currently unlocks nothing. A plan that depends on obtaining this tool cannot be completed through that blueprint.

Controller crafting remains a known issue
The October 10 patch fixed gamepad crafting tooltips. The developer’s October 14 known-issues post still says crafting with a controller does not work.

Compare the actual upgrade
A higher tier label does not answer every equipment question. Open the tool or weapon record and compare its relevant stats with your current item. The comparison view supports up to four pieces of the same equipment family and highlights tied best values. A dash means a value is unavailable, not zero.
Work back through ingredients
Add the final items to the crafting calculator. With intermediate crafting enabled, the engine expands the selected recipes to raw ingredients, rounds complete batches and shares intermediate output across targets. Alternative recipes remain separate choices, so a material such as Treated Hide is not silently forced through one animal source.
Read station and time totals together
The calculator’s duration is the sum of the selected recipe times for the planned batches. It is not a promise about elapsed play time or gathering speed. Check the listed stations and unlocks, subtract your gathered stock, then save the resulting plan.
